Bob Thomas

Manager/Funeral Director and Embalmer

Bob joined the staff of Malone in 1979. He attended the University of Kentucky and Morehead State. In 1984, he went to Mid-America College of Funeral Service. Bob has been Managing Partner since 1994. He is married to Veronica Bush Thomas, who  taught at Prichard Elementary until her retirement in 2017, and they have a daughter Katelyn (Luke) Carroll, a son Alex (Tori) Thomas; he is a proud papaw of Kendall Jade, Kora Grace Carroll and Annalee Grace Thomas. Bob has been active in coaching various sports for youth in the area. He and his wife are members of Oak Grove Church of Christ, where he serves as a Elder and Treasurer, Kentucky Funeral Directors Association, Eastern Kentucky Funeral Directors, Willard Masonic Lodge #626, Kentucky Christian University Board of Directors.

Jeffrey P. Moudy

Funeral Director and Embalmer

Jeff has been part of the Malone Funeral Home family since November 2012. Jeff has been a Funeral Director/Embalmer since 2006. Jeff grew up in Taylorsville, Kentucky as the son of Wayne and Glenda Moudy. Jeff and his lovely wife, Julie, have a daughter Emma and a son Lane, who are both attending Morehead State University. Jeff loves spending his time with family, is an avid UK sports fan, and assistant Tennis Coach at East Carter High School. His wife Julie is a teacher at Elliott Intermediate School. He and his whole family are members of the Oak Grove Church of Christ, where he currently serves as Elder.

Rob Baier

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Rob has been employed with Malone Funeral Home since January 3, 2022. Rob graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in December of 2023. He is married to Cassie Walker Baier, who teaches at Heritage Elementary School.  Rob and Cassie have a daughter, Cholee and a son, Tucker.  Rob is a member of the Rockwall United Baptist Church.  Rob and Cassie both are lifelong residents of Grayson.

Walter Sammons Jr.

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Walter began his career in funeral service in 1974. He graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1977 and received his Funeral Director and Embalmer License in 1978. He joined the staff of Malone Funeral Home as Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1979. He is married to Jennie Mullins Sammons, and they have three daughters, Kisha Tussey, Jennifer Guyton and Jessica Sammons. Walter has two granddaughters Alexandria and Stephany Tussey.  Walter is a member of the Fellowship Christian Baptist Church.

Beverly Whitt

Funeral Director/Manager

Beverly joined the Malone Funeral Staff in 1991. She became a licensed funeral director in 1998. Beverly is also in charge of office details. She is married to Bryan Whitt and has two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Angel Whitt and Shaun and Heather Whitt. She is a proud grandmother of Averie Whitt, Seth Whitt and Harper Whitt. She is a member of the Fellowship Christian Baptist Church, where her husband is also minister.

Dwight Hamilton

Ambassador

Dwight joined our staff in 2020, shortly before he retired from Blue Grass Army Depot with 31 years service.  Dwight is married to Pamela who is administrative assistant at KCU.  Dwight is a member of Bagby United Methodist Church in Grayson and Waco, KY Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. 338.

Delmar Roy Rogers

Pre-Need Services

Delmar is the son of the late Edgar and Pearl Greer Rogers. He is married to Wannetta Jackson Rogers. They are blessed with three children, Erica (J.C.) Perkins, Aimee (Anthony) Porter and Joshua (Tara) Rogers, and five grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Caleb, Lydia and Kaden. He graduated from Morehead State University in 1974 with an accounting degree. Delmar is the pastor of Johns Run Tabernacle, General Secretary of the Ohio Valley Association of Christian Baptist Churches and Treasurer of Good Samaritans of Carter County Inc. Delmar has been employed at Malone Funeral Home since 2010.

William Burke

Bill joined the staff of Malone Funeral Home in September 2012. A lifelong resident of Grayson, Bill graduated from Morehead State University with Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees. Bill and his wife Sherry Bradshaw Burke are retired educators and members of the Leon Church of Christ.

Tom Bender

Ambassador

Tom joined the staff of Malone Funeral Home in June 2014. He and wife Jennie have lived in Grayson for the past 26 years. Tom is a retired teacher from Carter County School System, and Jennie is retired from Kentucky Christian University. The have two children, Donald, a Towboat Captain for Marathon Marine Transportation, and Becca, a Customer Service Representative for Grayson RECC. He is also "Papaw" to two grandchildren. They are members of the First Church of Christ, Grayson.

Terry Yankey

Terry joined the staff of Malone Funeral Home in May 2017.  Terry and his wife Helen have lived in Grayson for the past 43 years.  Terry is retired from Kentucky Christian University, and Helen leads the Senior Adult Ministry at First Church of Christ (Grayson).  They have four children, Tim (Katie), Josh (Hannah), Whitney and Caleb(Kelsi); six grandchildren, Aly, Eli, Ava, Jasper, Lily and Onyx.  They are members of the First Church of Christ, Grayson.

Charlotte Carter

Charlotte joined the staff of Malone Funeral Home in July. She is married to Sam Carter. Charlotte is a member of the Stinson Church of Christ. She graduated from Capital School of Cosmetology and was owner of Trendsetters Hair Design and Vanity Fair Beauty Salon for 51 years. She was a member of the Hitchins Home Makers and Valley View Homemakers and Grayson Chamber of Commerce, Grayson Tourism Commissioner, past president of Grayson Rotary Club, a member of V.F.W. Ladies Aux, Eastern Star Worthy Matron, Church Secretary, and Sunday School Teacher.

Debbie Yates

Debbie joined Malone Funeral Home February 2017.  Debbie is Married to Roger Yates, they have one child, Alesha (Chester) Williams; and four grandchildren, Brianna, Gabe, Madi and Lexi.  Debbie is a member of the Cane Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
