Charles Curtis Claxon

Charles Curtis Claxon, 79 of Hopewell, KY went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 22nd, 2014 at his residence.
He was born January 28th, 1935 a son of the late Ambros and Nevada  Bradford Claxon.
He was retired from the Kentucky Department Transportation Cabinet and was an auto body mechanic. Charlie was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Stephens Claxon, one son, Raymond Claxon, two sisters, Evelyn Claxon and Ella Faye Claxon, three brothers, William Thomas Claxon, Robert Douglas Claxon and Junior Lee Claxon.
His survivors include:
One daughter, Donna Sue (Tim) Bush of Hopewell, KY;
Two sons, Don (Bernice) Claxon of Summit, KY and Michael Claxon of Hopewell; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 26th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Daniel Miller and Don Pope, officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery at Hopewell. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, June 25th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday after 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Malone Funeral Home.
