Cleatis Joyce Hensley

Cleatis Joyce Hensley, 79, of Grayson, KY went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 30, 1937 at Hitchins, KY a daughter of the late Everett and Anna Tackett Swinford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dempsey Hensley, Sr.; three brothers, Orville, Samuel and Bill Swinford; two sisters, Lulu Romans and Lucy Alexander. Cleatis was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Jack D. Hensley, Jr. of Grayson; three daughters, Lena Romans and Eva Holbrook both of Grayson, and Patty Stewart of Leaper, MI; one sister, Jo Ann Barker of Grayson; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 12 noon at Malone Funeral Home with Mickey King, officiating. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday after 9:00 a.m. until service time at Malone Funeral Home.
