David Dean Martin

David Dean Martin, 86, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Monday November 20, 2017 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Dave was born June 10, 1931 in Greenup Co, KY a son of the late Roscoe and Ora Curry Martin. In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by three sisters, Mayme Huffman, Belle Martin and Edna Loraine Martin Rigsby; five brothers, Lawrence Martin, Billy Joe Martin, James Ady Martin, Glen Edward Martin and John Martin.
Dave was of the Christian Faith, and worked as a tobacco and dairy farmer. Dave was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, gardening and cutting wood.
Dave is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathy Ann Kitchen Martin; six daughters, Diane Wilburn of Grayson, Kathy (Randy) Steagall of Olive Hill, Brenda (Glen) Sparks and Robin (Tim) Kouns both of Grayson; Lisa (Jerry) Pennington of Ashland, and Charlotte (Jimmy Sloas) Stephens of Grayson; a son, Woodrow (Mickel) Kitchen of Richmond; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Martin of Grayson; his fur babies, Tobie, Blackie and Billy; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Lester Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Edison Cemetery.
