Edna Lawson

Edna Campbell Lawson, 93, of Grayson went to be with her lord Saturday January 20, 2018 at her residence. Edna was born May 29, 1924 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late Cas and Martha Houck Campbell. In addition to her parents Edna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elwood Victor Lawson; her son, Charles Cas Lawson; a grandson, Charles Anthony Lawson; brothers and sisters, EdwardCampbell, Ora and Mae Houck, Paul Campbell, Chester Campbell, Roy Campbell, Ruth Ingram, Dolly Waggoner and Pauline Cole; and a grandson in-law, Daniel “Danny” Dewayne Lemaster.
Edna was of the Baptist Faith. Edna was a retired cook at Shangri-La Restaurant, and loved quilting.
Edna is survived by a daughter, Linda (Roger)Miller of Grayson, four grandchildren, David Whitt, Angela Wilson, Rojnetta Kinder, and Tonya Lemaster; six great-grandchildren, Devin Wilson, Whitney Elam, Derek Lemaster, Zachary Kinder, LaRae Lemaster, and Leland Criswell; four great-great grandchildren, Xavier Elam, Trinity Kinder, Gannon Rice, and Skylar Elam; a sister, Hester Swint; several nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Little Bit and Cookie who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Pastor Lloyd Baldridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Grayson Memorial Burial Park.
