Genetta Ruth McClave

Genetta Ruth McClave, 65 of Ashland went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 16, 2017 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born May 2, 1952 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late William Harold and Betty Ruth Robinson Bledsoe. She was a retired Registered Nurse from Kings Daughters Medical Center. Genetta was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Bledsoe. Her survivors include her husband of 45 years, William McClave; one son, William Brad (Ladonna Michelle) McClave of Georgetown; one daughter, Amanda Grace (Sean Douglas) Preston of Ashland; two sisters, Joyce (Larry) Moore of Fleming Co., KY and Frances (Tim) Rice of Grayson; two grandchildren, Micah Braden McClave and Grace Anne Preston; her loyal companion, Sammy; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Delmar Rogers, minister. Inurnment will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
