Joseph Burbrink

Joe Burbrink, 57 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Joe was born April 4, 1960 in Indianapolis IN a son of Tom and Nancy Burbrink of Grayson. Joe was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. While in High School, Joe did small engine repair for Western Auto, worked at Stumbo’s Exxon and after graduating school he worked at Grayson Motors. In the early 80’s he purchased Service Garage operating until his death. He loved drag racing, dirt tracks and NASCAR. His motto was “the faster, the louder the car, the better it was.” He had a special love for his dogs – especially his Schnauzers. He is survived by his wife Karen Rankins Burbrink; two sons, David (Deanna) Burbrink of Emerson and Jeffery Burbrink of Grayson; one daughter, Marisa Caudill of South Shore KY; two sisters, Susan (Curt) Everman and Karen (Keith) Ann Isaacs both of Grayson; step-daughter, Tammie Miracle of Morehead KY; Mark Helmick who was like a brother and Dustin Owens was like a son both of Grayson; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday, January 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Family Life Center in Grayson with John Brooks and Kevin Fyffe, officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at life center. Malone Funeral Home in Grayson is in charge of arrangements.
