John Orville Rice

John Orville Rice, 63, of Shelby, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 30th 2017 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. John was born February 23, 1954 in Logan, WV a son of the late Willie and Nola Mae Waggoner Rice.
John was a Family man who loved spending time with his precious grandchildren. John enjoyed reading and fishing.
John is survived by a son, Johnny (Misty) Rice of Shelby, OH; a daughter, Angela Rice Smith of Mansfield, OH; four grandchildren, Logan Rice, Gage Rice, Tyler Rice and Madelyn Rice; a brother, Everett (Juanita) Rice of WV; five sisters, Alberta Rice of WV, Barbara Diamond of SC, Phyllis (Bob) Jesseau of NC, Sue (Mark) Cutlip of Virginia, and Virginia (Jim) Hamilton of FL; and many nieces, nephews and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Including his parents John was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Rice and Tommy Rice.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday August 4, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Jacob Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Rice Family Cemetery on Mayhew Flats.
