Juanita I. Jackson, 84 of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her residence. Juanita was born December 14, 1933 in Grayson a daughter of the late Charlie and Essie Wilson Grizzell. She operated Jackson’s Grayson Wholesale and was a member of the Dixie Park Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Jackson; one son, Charles Reyna; five sisters, Naomi Arnett, Mattie Harris, Marie Bowen, Edna Banks and Goldie Hay; five brothers, Hughie Grizzell, Junior Grizzell, Wayne Grizzell, Lawrence Grizzell and Earl Grizzell; one grandson, Christopher Reyna and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son, James Michael Jackson of Grayson; two daughters, Debbie Lowe of Grayson and Regina Stinnet of St. Thomas, Canada; five grandchildren, Elbert Jackson, Juanita Lowe, Jose’ Reyna, Valorie Jackson and Glenda Jackson; twenty two great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends can call Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
