Lizzie Carter

Lizzie Carter, 82 of Rush went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 31, 2017at Carter Nursing and Rehab in Grayson. Lizzie was born April 1, 1935 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Salyers Berry. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Fryer and her second husband Emil Carter; one son, George Ray Fryer; three sisters, Catherine Singleton, Imogene Beal and Marie Griffith; two brothers, Terry Lee Berry and George Lewis Berry. Her survivors include; one son, Kevin (Lisa) Fryer of Rush; one daughter, Betty (Mike) Hicks of Columbus OH; three sisters, Debbie (Eskil) Ellis of Rush, Sue Brewster and Irene Nolen both of Columbus OH; three brothers, Charles (Cindy) Berry of Hillsboro KY, Sherman (Sally) Berry and Harvey Berry Sr. both of Grayson KY; three grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Clell Lucas, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
