Lonnie Edward Parker

Lonnie Edward Parker, 74 of Grayson died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland.  Lonnie was born June 20, 1943 in Corey, KY a son of the late Wylie and Pauline Branham Parker.  He served his country in the US Army and was a barge loader for coal companies.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wylie Parker, Jr and James Parker; three sisters, Ester Davis, Plina Shaffer and Shelia Jordan.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years Glenna Holbrook Parker; two daughters, Deborah (Jonathan) Jonas of Olive Hill and Connie (Andrew) Schenck of Clearfield KY; five sisters, Kathy Harris and Jewell Skaggs both of Louisville, Ruth Carbetta of Mansfield OH, Ann Allen of Louisville and Linda of FL; special niece and nephew; Stephanie Coley and Jeffrey Burchett.  Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday July 22, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Delmar Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ernest Holbrook Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday.  Condolences may be sent to the Parker Family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
