Mary Ann Carper

Mary Ann Carper, 69 of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mary was born July 3, 1948 in Carter County, KY a daughter of James W. and Opal Frasier Cooper. She was a member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ and a homemaker. She loved quilting, gardening and being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death in 2014 by her husband of 46 years, Bill Carper; two brothers, Winston and Glen Cooper. She is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Mark) Kiser of Grayson and Sandy (Todd) Arrowood of Grayson; one sister, Jean Davis of Mansfield OH; four brothers, Albert Cooper of Grayson, Dempsey Cooper of Ft. Meade FL, Gary Cooper of Mansfield OH and Don Cooper of Olive Hill KY; seven grandchildren, Tanner (Callie) Kiser of Georgetown KY, Ethan Kiser of Lexington KY, Brody Stevens of Morehead KY, Brennin Stevens of Richmond KY, Seth Kiser, Hunter Arrowood and Autumn Arrowood all of Grayson; in-laws, Robert (Janet) Skaggs, Lovell (Debbie) Carper, Roger (Patty) Carper, Mike (Elsie) Carper, Dottie Carper and Shirley (Robert) Williams.
Funeral services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Roger McGlone, minister. Burial will be in the Cooper Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be: Tim Cooper, John Carper, Derrick Carper, Tom Carper, Bobby Skaggs and John Cooper.
