Mary Butler Grubb

Mary Butler Grubb, 80, of Grayson, KY went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Kingsbrook Care Center. Mary was born September 28, 1936 at Olive Hill, KY a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Stone Butler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Grubb; two sisters, Ethel Lookabaugh and Madge Butler; seven brothers, Raymond, John, Lois Hayden, Herman, Noah, Albert and Russell Butler. Mary was a retired teacher of 29 years with the Carter County Board of Education. She was a member of the Olive Hill Eastern Star #290. Her survivors include: two sons, Victor (Donna) Grubb and Tee (June) Grubb both of Grayson; three grandchildren, Ashley Grubb of Lexington, Will (Jennifer) Grubb of Grayson and Whitney (Aaron) Burton of Grayson ; and three great-grandchildren, Emmalynn Grubb, Hadlee Burton and Knox Burton. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Gary Arrington and Dewayne Slusher, officiating. Interment will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, July 11 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
