Paul Lincoln Bayes

Paul Lincoln Bayes, 93, of Oldtown, KY went to be with his Lord Friday November 10, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born February 9, 1924 in Willard, KY a son of the late Leonard and Mary Green Bayes. Including his parents Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Lou Ferguson Bayes in 1996; two sons, David “Butch” Bays and Tommy Bayes; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Paul was a proud 74 year member of the Boilermakers Local 105. Paul was a member of Willard Church of Christ. Paul loved spending time with his family especially watching UK Basketball.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Paula “Poot” Bayes and Omerea “Sis" Bayes both of Oldtown; four grandchildren, Courtney (Jeremy) Henderson, Heather Bays, Kyle Barnett and Brandon (Jill) Bays; four great-grandchildren, Shaianna Bays, Austin Bays, Kyler Barnett and Kelsey Barnett; a sister, Nell Campbell of Richmond, KY; and many friends who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with George Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Monday and after 9 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Boilermaker Rites will be held 7 pm Monday. Condolences may be sent to the Bayes Family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
