Phyllis Sue Fyffe

Phyllis Sue Thompson Fyffe, 80, of Webbville KY went to be with her Lord and Savior August 15, 2017 at Community Hospice Center in Ashland Ky.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jesse M. Fyffe, her three children: Sharon (Steve) Owen, Webbville, KY, Kevin (Rosie) Fyffe, Grayson, KY, Becky (Curt) Ferguson of Hitchins, KY, one foster daughter Janet Sparks, Webbville, KY; six grandchildren: Jason, Joshua, and Jessica Owen, Matthew and Carlie Fyffe, and Shelby Ferguson; four great-grandchildren: Timmy, Reilly, Wesley, and Jamie Parker; her baby brother: David Franklin “Frankie:” Thompson of Lithopolis, Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover C. and Belva Dean Thompson; four brothers: JuneThompson, Paul Thompson, Charles Thompson, and Herbert Thompson; four sisters: Garnett Carroll, Kathleen Webb, Emogene Bayes, and Glenna Wallin.
Phyllis was a member of 42 years of Maranatha Bible Church, Webbville KY. She unselfishly served others all her life as a Pastor’s wife, homemaker, and a second mom to many.
She loved decorating cakes, gardening, canning, her bird feeder, interpreting for the deaf where she graduated from the Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, TN, working with the youth group and spending time with her family.
She had one special friend of 71 years, Toby Roberts, of Louisa KY who has been by her side through thick and thin. They shared a lot of special memories that will be forever embedded in our hearts.
She will be missed by a host of family and friends that know that this is not goodbye but “See You Later”.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday August 18 2017 at the Maranatha Bible Church in Webbville with Jesse Fyffe and Steve Owen officiating. Burial will follow in the Maranatha Bible Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Thursday at the church and after 10 am Friday until the service hour. Condolences may be sent to the Fyffe family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
