Phyllis Laverne Bradshaw Hamilton, 81 went to be with her Lord, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her residence. Phyllis was born May 14, 1936 in Leon KY, a daughter of the late James A. and Madgeline Fuller Bradshaw. She was kitchen manager chef for many years at J & J restaurant in Ashland and retired as a chef at Ashland Plaza Hotel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Raymond Hamilton, Jr.; two sons Shawn E. Hamilton and Joey B. Hamilton; a granddaughter, Jessica N. Hamilton McFadden; one brother Larry V. Bradshaw. Her survivors include a son Gary R. (Robin) Hamilton of Ona WV; two sisters, Mary (Donald) Ogle of Ontario OH and Ruth Stillion Turner of Indianapolis IN; five brothers, Danny, James, Raymond, Terry and Russell Bradshaw all of Mansfield OH; one “considered adopted” daughter, Patty Page Banfield; special friends, Mrs. Betty Davis and sons Allen and Bobby Davis of Rush; and a multitude of nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted, 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Malone Funeral Home with Jerry Foster, minister. Burial will be in the Old Grayson Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
