Rose Mary Mullins

Rose Mary Hensley Mullins, 63, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born August 13, 1953 in Ashland, KY a daughter of the late Porter and June Lewis Hensley. Including her parents Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mullins, Sr.; her companion, Ronnie Glancy; a sister, Marcella Kate Hensley; and two infant daughters.
Rose was a nurse’s aide with Kings Daughters Medical Center in the 70’s and 80’s, worked at Cook’s with the sanitation crew, and later cleaned houses. Rose enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales and spoiling her four Chihuahua’s.
Rose is survived by her two sons, Charles Mullins and Button Mullins both of Hitchins; a sister, Vanessa Seagraves of Richmond, KY; a brother, Harvey Douglas (Alaha) Hensley of Syracuse, OH.; two grandchildren, Samantha Mullins and Justin Mullins; two brother in-laws, James Seagraves of Grayson and Jose Torres of Richmond; a nephew, Tony Hensley Wagoner; nieces, Vanessa Phillips, Ova S. Altuzar, and Jeannie Sanchez; and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday February 6th, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bradley Cotten officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
