Thomas Jeffery Gibson

Thomas Jeffery Gibson, 48, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Monday August 14, 2017 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Jeff was born June 2, 1969 in Ashland, KY a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Joann Martin Gibson.
Jeff was a US Navy veteran who served his country honorably from 1989 - 1992, and afterwards enlisted in the Army Reserves and served for another 13 years. Jeff went to ITT Tech and worked at James Family Outfitters for many years. Jeff loved fishing, four-wheeling and especially spending time with his grandbabies.
Jeff is survived by his fiancé’, Ronda Lawhun-Eddy; a daughter, Britney Nicole Gibson of Washington; a sister, Joyce Flaugher of South Shore; six grandchildren , Sophia Grace Bellew, Jaxon Ray Bellew, Emma McDowell, Shanah Walker, Jasmine McDowell and Charlie McDowell,; two step-sons, Eric McDowell and Justin Bellew; two step-daughters, Lindsay (Chris) Blevins and Kayla Bellew; a niece, Shiann Knipp; a nephew, Dallas Knipp; and a special cousin, Robert Fletcher.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Josh Nunley and Chuck Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East with military honors. Visitation will be 10 am Tuesday until the service hour.
