Arnold Ray Fosson

Arnold Ray Fosson, 87 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on July 7, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Arnold was born June 5, 1932 at Jeriel, KY, a son of the late Arnold T. and Lottie Slone Fauson. He was retired from Armco Steel, a member of Steelworkers Local #1865, a member of Willard Baptist Church and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Harold Eugene Fosson and Harold Kozee; two sisters, Francis Fosson Baxter and Mary Jo Fosson Sergent. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jewell Thornbury Fosson; two sons, Scotty (Kathy) Fosson of Walton, KY and Rob Fosson of Grayson; one daughter, Janie (Bruce) Stevens of Grayson; one sister, Helen Fosson Giroux Alquist of Boise, ID; seven grandchildren, April Fosson Rudmonn, Nikki (Jason) Stevens James, Will (Vanessa) Stevens, Casey Flaugher, Brandon Fosson, Mandy (Josh) Fosson Colley and Zach Kinder; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with George Steele, minister. Burial with military honors will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
