Bert McCoy

Bert McCoy, 93 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at River’s Bend Health Care in South Point OH. Bert was born November 8, 1925 in Carter County, KY a son of the late Charlie and Ada Cains McCoy. He was owner of McCoy Roofing and farmer, a member of the United Baptist Association and a WWII Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one brother, Hager McCoy. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Joyce Ratcliff McCoy of Grayson; one son, Philbert (Barb) McCoy of Denton; one brother, Billy Gene McCoy of Grayson; two sisters, Janet Clevenger of Willard KY and Linda Lou Phillips of Lexington; one grandson, Kableb McCoy of Denton.
Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with David Trimble, minister. Burial with military honors will be in the KY Veterans Cemetery North East.
