Betty J Wade

Betty J. Cook Wade, 92,of Grayson went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Betty was born September 3, 1929 in Richwood, WV a daughter of the late, William A and Ava Trout Cook. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hallie R. Wade, Jr. on October 27, 2021; a son, John A. Wade; four sisters, Hattie, Madge, Mabel and Gladys; five brothers, Billy, Frank, Buster, Sam and Bobby; a Great-Grandson, Aayden Wade; and a Great-Great Granddaughter, Everlee Hacker. Betty was a homemaker.
Betty is survived by two sons, Ed A (Ranae) Wade of Cedarville, WV and David (Janet) Wade of Grayson, KY; 7 Grandchildren Tim (Kimberly) Wade, Tiffany (Richard) Godfrey, Tara (Roy) Prunty, David (Barbie) Wade Jr., Jason (Brenda) Wade, Rachel (Matt) Gee, and Nathan Wade; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; a sister, Barbara Payne of Elkview, WV; and a host of extended family and friends who all mourn her passing. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, November 6, 2021at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Ed and David Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Orchard Hill Memorial Gardens in Yawkey, WV.
