Bonnie Lou Jarvis Bawcum

Bonnie Lou Jarvis Bawcum, 62, of Olive Hill went to be with her Lord Wednesday December 15, 2021 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.  Bonnie was born February 5, 1959 in Olive Hill, KY a daughter of James Frank and Thelma Mae Greer Jarvis both of Olive Hill, KY.  Bonnie was preceded in death by a grandson, David Michael Bawcum; and two brothers, James Earl Jarvis and Jeffrey Jarvis.  Bonnie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her time with her precious children and grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Bonnie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dave Bawcum; a daughter, Spring (Garry Lee) Steele of Olive Hill; a son, David J. “D.J.” Bawcum of Lake Royale, NC; four grandchildren, Tayla (Conner Smith) Steele, Mariah (Brian Kouns) Steele, Garry David (Ashley) Steele and Coleton Bawcum; eleven great-grandchildren, Paxton Marcum, Xander Marcum, Olivian Smith, Zoey Smith, Kinleigh Smith, Kyndon Smith, Brian Kouns, Jr., Declan Steele, Khloe Kouns, Aspyn Parsons and Rayanna Jessie; two sisters, Beverly (Jeff) Ransom of NC and Cindy (David Keith) Jones of Hitchins, KY; a sister in-law, Barbara Jarvis of GA; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing. 

Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bawcum Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 am Tuesday until the service hour.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
