Carole Sue Dyer

Carole Sue Dyer, 83 of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Carole was born October 30, 1937 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Lewis and Yorka Duncan Ison. Carole was a member of First Church of Christ, Grayson Younger Woman’s Club and Garden Club. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Mike Ison. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Johnnie Dyer, one son, Steve (Kathy) Dyer of Grayson, one daughter, Stacey (Kevin) Prichard of Grayson, one sister, Glenna Jo Stewart of Kingsport, TN, three grandchildren, Tara McGuire, John Dyer and Nikea (Jesse) McDavid and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at East Carter County Memory Gardens, with Bro. Kyle Burchett, minister. Serving as pallbearers will be Roscoe Rogers, David Slone, Jesse McDavid, Robbie Sutherland, Scott Dyer and Karrick Dyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Strother, Jr, Richard Burton and Steve Womack.
