Carrie Coburn Sammons

Carrie E. Coburn Sammons, 92, of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Carrie was born January 4, 1927 in Ashland a daughter of the late John M. and Janie Hannah Cains. She was a member of Mavity Freewill Baptist Church for over 50 years, Eastern Star and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard W. Sammons; son, Donald R. Coburn; brother, Robert Donald Cains. Her survivors include a daughter, Diana Holbrook of Grayson; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Riffe, minister. Burial will be in the Grayson Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time.
