Chloe Nell Blevins Kitzmiller

Chloe Nell Blevins Kitzmiller, age 91, of Ashland, KY passed away September 21, 2021 from natural causes. Her passion for music was kindled as a little girl of 8 years from Lawrence County, KY when her minister father, Rev. Jetto Cleveland Blevins, brought home her first guitar riding horseback up the dirt lane. With her sister just 3 years old, her and Wanda Blevins Maynard would harmonize hymns to the glory of God and delight of those listening. More days have seen her playing guitar than not, and her beautiful voice has been appreciated by many. Chloe is survived by her daughters Connie Johnson Adams and Gloriss (Matthew) Johnson Nelson and son, Jack David Johnson, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded by sons Donald Eugene and Stanley Dean (Chico) Johnson, and Chole was the last of her 10 brothers and sisters to be called home.
