Clara Belle Gilbert Clark

Clara Belle Mullins Gilbert Clark, 75, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Clara was born April 24, 1944 in Hitchins, KY a daughter of the late, Roy and Vesta Stegall Mullins. In addition to her parents Clara is preceded in death by her husband in 1992, Francis Everett Gilbert; a sister, Belva Cartwright; and two brothers, Roy “Buster Mullins and Jim Mullins.
Clara was of the Baptist Faith. Clara loved to read and working in her garden, and canning her vegetables.
Clara is survived by her loving husband, James Sawyer Clark; three daughters, Mary (Gligor) Smith of Grayson, Teresa Bauers of Olive Hill and Loretta Clark of Grayson; two sons, Roy (Maggie) Clark of Taylor,TX and Scott (Marsha)Gilbert of Grayson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Ida Belle Leadingham of Olive Hill, Janet Heaberlin of Georgetown, FL, and Peggy Cochran of Olive Hill; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday September 1, 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. J.C. Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview-McGuire Cemetery.
