Clifford Suttles

Clifford Suttles 90, of Willard went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Harbor Health Care in Ironton, OH. He was born November 26, 1928 in Carter County, KY, a son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Messer Suttles. He was preceded in death by his first wife Garnet Zornes Suttles and second wife Sarah Hall Suttles; six brothers, Harold Lloyd Suttles, Everett Suttles, Lawrence Suttles Jr., Delmar Suttles, Billy Jo. Suttles and Frank Suttles; four sisters, Mialee, Glory G, Mavis Ann and Wilma Jean. He was the last sibling of 11 children. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Suttles; three sons, Glenville (Linda) Suttles of Ashland, Linville Suttles of South Shore, KY and Raymond (Bonnie) Suttles of South Shore, KY; two daughters, Linda (Roger) Groves of Ashland and Carolyn (George) Justice of Parrish FL; step son, Dean Adkins; step daughter, Dawn Perkins that he raised as his own. Mr. Suttles leaves behind a host of family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as stepchildren and step grandchildren who he loved so very much. Friends that was too numerous to count, he was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Malone Funeral Home with Delmar Rogers, minister. Burial will be in the Rogers-Messer Cemetery.
