Curtis Lucas

Curtis Edward Lucas (Dirt-Dirt) 57, of Rush took his Heavenly flight home Friday, July 6, 2018. Curtis was born July 17, 1960 in Grayson a son of the late Cecil “Shorty” and Wanda Gee Lucas. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry F. Lucas; grandparents Ephriam and Della Lucas, Bessie Jenkins and Arnold Gee; brother-in-law, Lowell “Gene” Salyers.
He is survived by a brother, Scott (Renay) Lucas of Argillite; sister, Vickie Salyers (Dean Greene) of Grayson; four nephews, Zachary (Marissia) Salyers of Rush, Tyler Church of Ashland, Larry D. Lucas of CO and James Howell of GA; two nieces, Christy Lucas and April Koepf of Ashland; three great-nephews, Jose Cuchillo, Carlos Gullett and David Koepf all of Ashland; three great-nieces, Ryleigh Salyers his best friend of Rush, Ashley Lucas and Tiffany Kiwabonga of Ashland; two uncles, David Lee Jenkins of Russell and Bert Davis of Straight Creek; his beloved dog CeeCee.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Lucas Family Cemetery on Williams Creek, with David Stephens minister. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
