Dalton Cole Adkins

Dalton Cole Adkins, 21, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Thursday August 29, 2019 after the results of an auto accident on Daveys Run Road. Dalton was born December 15, 1997 in Ashland, KY a son of Randy Gene and Leora Sue Murphy Adkins of Grayson.
Dalton was a 2017 graduate of East Carter High School. Dalton attended Stinson Church of Christ and Oak Grove Church of Christ. Dalton worked for Meylan Enterprises, Inc. as a blaster. Dalton enjoyed listening to music and loved being outdoors hunting and fishing with friends and family.
In addition to his parents Dalton is survived by, two sisters, Tara (Max) Crockett of Ashland and Celsey (Ethan) Adkins of Grayson; a brother, Lance Corporal Christopher (Christa) Spillman of Camp Pendelton, CA; paternal grandparents, Darrell and Carolyn Sloas; three nieces, Gracie Pruitt, Violet Blanton and Jaden Pennington; three nephews, Tae Blanton, Christian Furnish and Skyler White; and several friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Dalton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ora Lee and Lenoria Messer Murphy; paternal grandparents; Gene and Ruby Sparks.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday September 6, 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Justin Butler and Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Thursday and after 9 am Friday until the service hour.
