David Lee Adkins

David Lee Adkins, 70 of Ashland went to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland.  David was born June 28, 1948 in Huntington WV, a son of the late Arlton Lee and Louella Berry Adkins.  He was a retired over the road truck driver and an avid musician.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Lynn Adkins; one brother, Danny Michael Adkins.  He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Stella Rice Adkins; two daughters, Michelle (Gary) Cooper of Huntington WV and Jessica Salvatore of GA; one son, David Salvatore of GA; one sister, Sandra Nichols of FL; one brother, James Adkins of FL; four grandchildren, Destiny, Christopher, William and Nathan; and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Caden.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Holbrook, minster.  Burial will be in the Coalton Community Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until service time.  Condolences
