Deloris Evans, 86, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Wednesday April 27, 2022 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Deloris was born May 24, 1935 in Denton, KY a daughter of the late, John Sr. and Maggie Crum Evans. In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by two sons, John Clinton “Johnny” Davis and James Cline “Jimmy” Davis; a granddaughter, Christy Davis Mills; a sister, Okla Evans Caudill; and five brothers, Orangded Evans, Wade Evans, Bobby Ray Evans, Eddie Evans and Clayton Evans. Deloris was a Christian and loved spending time outdoors. Deloris retired as a hairdresser of her own salon at Scope Towers for over 35 years. Deloris is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Tony) Knipp of Grayson; six grandchildren, Tonia (John) Tussey and Lorey Knipp of Grayson, Stacy (Tom) Waugh of Denton, Kayla Marie Bevins of Greenup, Katie Davis (Donnie) McCane of Vanceburg and Levi Davis Blevins of Ashland; several great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, John Evans, Jr. of Grayson; and a host of nieces and nephews all who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday April 30, 2022 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
