Edgar A. Carroll, Sr.

Edgar A. Carroll, Sr., 90, of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. Edgar was born January 28, 1930 in Grayson, a son of the late Daniel (Scott) Carroll and Maggie Swint Carroll. Edgar was a member of the Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church and retired with 30 years’ service at KY Electric Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Steele Carroll; two sons, Edgar Carroll, Jr. and Daniel Carroll; granddaughter, Kristi Morrison; brothers, Mason Carroll, Ran Carroll, Lawrence Carroll, Phillip Carroll and Leonard Carroll; sisters, Lacy Easterling, Ruby Kazee and Ethel Bond. He is survived by two daughters, Paula Prince and Mabel Yates both of Grayson; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Joed Rice, minister. Burial will be in Cribbs Hill Cemetery with full military rites.
