Elaine Gee

Elaine M. Gee 91, formerly of Russell passed away Sunday morning Feb. 11, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center Canton, OH. Elaine was born April 28, 1926 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late Robert and Johna McDavid Miller.
Elaine was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Business University, Nashville, TN where she served as Secretary for Pi Ro Zeta Sorority. She taught one-room School at Shell Rock on Deer Creek for one year before working in the office of Ben Franklin and later being recruited to Rural Electric. Years later she embarked on a career in the Credit Department of CH Parson's Department Store until the store's closing in the mid 1980's
Elaine was of the Christian faith and a member of Bridges Christian Church since August 1967.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Gee, Jr.; two sisters, Floris Thompson of Westwood, and Evelyn Robinson of Ashland; one brother, Ralph Emerson Miller of Bellefonte; and one nephew, Carter Thompson of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Elaine is survived by a sister, Glenna Stevens of Grayson; one son, Charles N. (Tammy) Gee, III of Grayson; one Daughter, Teresa G. (George) Wilson of Navarre, OH; five grandchildren, Timothy, Andrew, Elise, and Steven of Navarre, OH and Chuckie Gee of Grayson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Elaine will always be remembered for her love of family and keen sense of humor.
Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday February 15, 2018 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Mark McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Vincent Cemetery.
