Elmer Lowe

Elmer Lowe, 90 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Huntington VA Hospital. Elmer was born February 10, 1927 in Olive Hill, KY a son of the late Lewis and Mona Mauk Lowe. He retired from Massey-Ferguson in Cuyahoga Falls, OH where he was a member of the United Auto Workers union, Grayson Masonic Lodge #145 F.&A.M., Scottish Rite, El Hasa Shrine Temple, Kentucky Colonel and of Christian faith. He served his country proudly in the Army during the Korean conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; two brothers, Arlie and Lloyd Lowe; one sister Velda Roe. He is survived by his wife of 53 years,Idell Leadingham Lowe; one son, Lee (Mischelle) Lowe of Lexington; one sister, Alene Jacobs of Olive Hill; two brothers, Carmel Lowe and George Lowe both of Olive Hill KY; step-son, Marvin Cody Whitt of Bruin KY.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11:00 am. at Malone Funeral Home with Tom Riffe minister. Burial with military honors will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 am. on Saturday. Serving as pallbearers will be Lewis Leadingham, Jeff Lewis, Jim McCormick, Mike Lowe, Gary Caudill and Roger Lowe.
