Ernestine Gullett

Ernestine Gullett, 82 of Grayson went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday July 4, 2021 at the Carter Nursing and Rehab in Grayson. Ernestine was born April 2, 1939 in Ironton, Ohio a daughter of the late, Ernest and Edith M. Martin Lunsford. In addition to her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. James W. Gullett in 2001; a daughter, Shawn R. Kelsey; a grandson, Kevin James Kelsey and a sister, Ruth Williams.
Ernestine was a homemaker, and former pastor’s wife for 30 years at the Grayson United Pentecostal Church. She currently attended Calvary Temple Apostolic in Enterprise, KY. Her greatest passions were teaching Sunday School and volunteering her time at Carter Nursing and Rehab for over 30 years. Ernestine was an LPN having graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing.
Ernestine is survived by three daughters, Tanya (Terry) Crawford of Peterborough, Ontario, Tammy (James) Jarrell of Wurtland, and Valerie (Larry) Ingles of Grayson; two sons, James Lyle Gullett of Wurtland and Whitey (Kim) Gullett of Grayson; a son in-law, Kevin Kelsey of London, Ontario; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday July 7, 2021 at the Grayson United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Dan Long officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
