Ferrell Jean White, 83, of South Point, Ohio went to be with her Lord Tuesday August 24, 2021 at the Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Riverview Center in South Point, Ohio. Ferrell was born February 14, 1938 in Greenup, KY a daughter of the late Arthur Henry and Alice Lorene Akers Bolton. In addition to her parents Ferrell was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Mitchell White; a grandson, Arthur Mitchell White; a brother, Charles Bolton; and sons in-law, Bob and Keith. Ferrell was a retired teacher with the Raceland School System having retired as the school librarian. Ferrell was a member of A.A.U.W and past president from 2009-2011. Ferrell is survived by her loving daughter, Susan White of Greenup; a granddaughter, Robin (Joe) Pollock of Ashland; great-grandchildren, Raevyn Pollock, Emily Pollock, and Aubrey Long and one on the way, Blake Long; a sister, Lilly Louise Adkins of Greenup; two brothers, Dave (Belva) Bolton of Michigan and Clyde (Marie) Bolton of Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who all mourn her passing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
