Gene Alan Johnson

Gene Alan Johnson, 66, of Webbville passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Gene was born February 15, 1952 in Loraine, OH a son of Marjorie Fox Switzer of Vermilion, OH and the late Gene Johnson. In addition to his father Gene was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Johnson; and a half-sister, Terry Lynn Smith.
Gene was a graduate of Louisa High School class of 1971. After high school Gene worked as an auto body mechanic.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda Gail Pennington Johnson; three sons, David Alan Johnson of Webbville, George Wayne Johnson of Grayson, and Brian Bradford (Kelsey) Johnson of Webbville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Lou Ann (Wayne) Weary of Oxford, NC; a half-sister, Diane (Tom) Kudela of Vermilion, OH; and several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Webbville.
