Genevieve Hall Caudill, 96, of Ashland went to be with her Lord Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was born April 2, 1927, in Ashland, KY a daughter of the late, Charles Lee and Grace Kirk Hall. In addition to her parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Grace Caudill-Gillum; and two sisters, Edith Fields Gregg, and Oudadiah Hall Reynolds. Genevieve worked at Murphy’s, AC Marble, as a Pre-School Teachers Aide and as a Private Housekeeper. Her passion was being on a farm with her children, taking care of them and her animals. She had a special connection with animals, especially horses and cats. It was as if they could talk to one another. Genevieve was a storyteller and would tell stories for hours of her childhood, and of her father and mother. She loved her parents, children, and grandchildren dearly. We will all surely miss her. Genevieve is survived by, two sons, Virgil Glenn Caudill of Ironton, OH and Paul Ray Caudill of Grayson; a daughter, Deborah Caudill of Ashland; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who all mourn her passing. She was of Baptist faith. A graveside service will be at 2 pm Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Caudill- Stamper Cemetery on Rambling Ridge Road with Bro. Joed Rice officiating.
