Glenna Fern Burge Saunders

Glenna Fern Burge Saunders, 83 of Iron Hill, KY, went to be with her Lord Sunday, September 26, 2021, at her daughter’s residence. Glenna was born March 21, 1938 at Iron Hill, KY a daughter of the late Joe and Ona Tomlin Burge. In addition to her parents Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stewart Saunders; a son, Anthony Saunders; five brothers, Clifford Burge, Kenneth “Nick” Burge, John Burge, Harry Burge and Mason Burge; three sisters, Helen Virginia Jarvis Haugen, Maggie Bellew and Charlene Burge.
Glenna was a homemaker. Glenna enjoyed cooking and caring for many people. Glenna loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Glenna is survived by a daughter, Glenda Bivens of Garrison, KY; two sons, Mike Saunders and Scott Saunders both of Iron Hill; two granddaughters, Kelci Bivens and Kierra Bivens; and two brothers, Harold Burge of Iron Hill and Arthur (Jeannie) Burge of Grayson.
Graveside services will be 12 noon Friday October 1, 2021 at the Horsley Cemetery with Emily Madden, minister. Condolences and memories can be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
