Harold Chester Burke

Harold Chester Burke, 61, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Friday May 14, 2021 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Harold was born February 2, 1960 in Carter Co., KY a son of the late Chester and Linda Holbrook Burke. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife in 2020, Sharon Kay Wagoner Burke; and a sister, Dorothy Vannatter in 2016. Harold was known for his strong work ethic, having been the plant manager at the Highland Company, working there for over 30 years. Harold loved spending time with his grandchildren. Harold enjoyed going to car shows and watching westerns. Harold is survived by a son, Dwayne Burke; three grandchildren, Kasey Burke, Austin Smith and Derick Smith; a daughter in-law, Stacy Burke; three sisters, Brenda Gumm, Betty (Tony) Sherman and Jeanie (Jason Stewart) Burke all of Grayson; a special friend, Tish Elliott of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who all mourn his passing.
