Helen Delores Gallion Caldwell, 88, of Webbville went to be with her Lord Saturday February 23, 2019 at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland. Helen was born March 25, 1930 in Elliott County, KY a daughter of the late, Arthur and Mae Pennington Gallion. In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil Caldwell; a son, Larry Caldwell in 2005; and two brothers, John Gallion and Harold Gallion; and two sisters, Dorothy McKenzie and Francis Parsley.
Helen was of the Christian Faith and a 23 year member of the Victory Christian Center in Webbville. Helen loved to feed her hummingbirds, working in her garden and planting flowers.
Helen is survived by two sons, Matthew Caldwell and Arthur (Stacy) Caldwell both of Webbville; a daughter, Cecil Baker of California; five grandchildren, Stacy Caldwell, Kayla (Aaron) Wages, Olivia Caldwell, Lisa Baker and Amber Coon; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Jean Cooksey of Grayson, and Janet Ames of Ohio; a daughter in-law, Jewel Caldwell; a devoted niece who was her angel on earth, Hildreth Pennington; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, March 1 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Pastor David Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
