Helen LeMaster

Helen LeMaster, 95 died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Trinity Station. Helen was born June 7, 1927, a daughter of Jacob H. Wilburn and Jessie Willis Wilburn Callihan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Henry (H.V.) V. LeMaster as well as sisters, Janice (Gayle) Carter, Faye (George) O’Dell, brothers, William Wilburn, Carl (Ethel) Wilburn, Earl (Martha) Wilburn and George Harold (Phyllis) Wilburn.
Helen is survived by son Philip (Myrtle) LeMaster of Grayson, grandchildren, Helen Renee Stewart, Philip Russell (Brandy) LeMaster and Regina Jo (Bill) Rice, six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, a special nephew, Wade Wilburn, special niece, Lisa Stephens along with several more nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Helen retired from Carter County Schools after 30 years. She was a member of Bayless Memorial Presbyterian Church, the KY Retired Teachers Association, a lifetime member of Hitchins Homemakers Club and the Grayson OHES Trimble Lodge and a Kentucky Colonel.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Malone Funeral Home with Jacob Stewart, minister. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of services.  Serving as pallbearers will be, Donnie Whitt, Brandon Baker, Hub Johnson, Donnie Malone, Nathan Carter and Brad McDavid. In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101 or Grayson Food Pantry, 287 Pomroy Street, Grayson, KY 41143.
