Hunter Thomas Malone

Hunter Thomas Malone, 22, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Tuesday September 7, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Hunter was born March 30, 1999 in Huntington, WV a son of Elaina Dawn Eldridge Malone and the late Fred Malone. In addition to his father, Hunter was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy Franklin and Brenda Laney Eldridge.
Hunter was a 2017 graduate of East Carter High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Hunter was known for his sense of humor and loved spending time entertaining his family. Hunter liked gaming with friends, especially playing Dungeons and Dragons making stories as the Dungeon Master. Hunter had a kindhearted nature and truly cared for everyone he knew.
Including his mother Hunter is survived a brother, Gaven Malone; a sister, Brooklyn Rae Bear; his paternal grandparents, Linda O’Bryan (Pat) McDavid, and Mike (Rose Leadingham) Malone all of Grayson; and a host of extended family and friends who all mourn his passing.
Hunter’s family would like to express a sincere thanks to the staff and caregivers at Kings Daughters Medical Center and UK Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday September 14, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home with Elder Josh Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
