James Alfred "Jimmy" Johnson II

James Alfred “Jimmy” Johnson II, 54, of Flatwoods, KY went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Jimmy was born January 4, 1969 in Huntington, WV a son of Johnnie May (Ricky Lee) Evans of Rush, and the late, James Alfred Johnson.
Jimmy was a Boyd County High graduate, and after high school worked construction in Orlando, Florida and most recently worked as a master carpenter for over 10 years with Swim Brothers Construction. Jimmy loved riding his motorcycle, spending time at the lake, and was an avid poker player.
Jimmy is survived by two sons, Andy Johnson and Donald Johnson both of Flatwoods; three daughters, Aimee Porter of Flatwoods, Erica Lemus of Dayton, OH, and Alyssa Lemus of Huntington, WV; his step-mother, Rosanna Johnson of Boyd Co. KY; a brother, James Robinson of Boyd Co., KY; two sisters, Tracey Bokoski of Chicago, IL, and Angie Robinson of Cincinnati, OH; two nephews, Matt Bokoski and Michael Robinson;  close friends, Jason Hodgens and Jesse Johns; his fur babies, Bud and Little Man; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers and Bro. Ricky Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Newman-Hatton Cemetery in Prichard, WV. Visitation will be 11 am Friday until the service hour. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
