James Allen Berry Jr.

James Allen Berry, Jr., 49, of Rush went to be with his Lord Thursday September 23, 2021 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Jimmy was born August 24, 1972 in Ashland, KY a son of Barbara Moore Berry of Rush and the late, James Allen Berry, Sr. In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Wade Johnson.
Jimmy was retired from AK Steel where he worked as a Locomotive Engineer. Jimmy was an avid UK Sports fan and enjoyed being outdoors hunting with his sons.
Including his mother, Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Ronda Michelle Adkins Berry; three sons, Levi Berry of Morehead, KY, Logan Berry and Jonah Berry both of Rush; a brother, Larry Wayne Berry of Rush; two sisters, Lesa Michelle (Mike) Duley of Rush and April (Bob) Familton of Grayson; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday September 26, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery in Rush.
