James William Savage

James “Billy” William Savage, 72, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at U of L Health Jewish Hospital. Billy was born December 8, 1947 in Webbville, KY, a son of the late Warren Martin Savage and Martha Sparks Savage. He was retired from AK Steel, Amada Furnace, member of Hitchins Gospel Mission and attended Georgetown Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife Norma Shears Savage; four brothers, Richard Savage, Ronnie Savage, Eddie Savage and Phil Savage. He is survived by his wife Susan Young Savage of Georgetown; one son, Scott (Shara) Savage of Georgetown, KY; one daughter, Megan (Chad) Martin of Lexington, KY; four sisters, Janie Savage of Ashville, NC, Deloris Baldwin of Paintsville, KY, Betty Jackson of Grayson and Donna Sue Savage of Morehead, KY; three brothers, George “Junie” Savage of Grayson, Douglas Dean Savage of Louisa, KY and Donald Savage of Webbville, KY; five grandchildren, Craig Andrew Marble, Johnathan Lucas, Jacob Adkins, Nolan Martin and Avery Lykins.
Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Gary Vaughn and Gary Sparks, ministers. Burial will be in the Grayson Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Family suggests contributions to your favorite charity. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required.
