Janet Kay Meeks

Janet Kay Meeks, 76 of Ashland died Saturday at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Janet was born August 25, 1944 in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Carrie Davis Hostler. She was preceded in death by a son Lawrence Joseph Meeks and a granddaughter, Julia Marshall. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond E. Meeks; two sons, Charles (Diana) Meeks of Westwood and Daniel (Regina) Meeks of Greenup; one daughter, Missi (Eric) Marshall of Rush; two sisters, Carolyn Carter of Ironton, OH and Judy Daniels of South Point, OH; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home withWayn Smith and Bryan Sturgill, ministers. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
