Jean Mae McDavid

Jean Mae McDavid, 80 of Webbville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Carter Nursing and Rehab after a brief illness. Jean was born at Johns Run, a daughter of the late Merdie and Cindy Stephens Sagraves. Jean was a homemaker and a member of the Blaines Trace Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell McDavid in 2007; one son Billy Oscar McDavid; three brothers, Elmer Sagraves, Delmar Sagraves and Beecher Sagraves. She is survived by one son, Glenn T. (Debbie) McDavid of Webbville; two sisters, Junie (Henry June) Sturgill of Davys Run and Beatrice Porter of Loraine OH; two grandchildren, William (Nikea) Jessie McDavid and Jennifer (Will) McDavid Grubb; three great-grandchildren, Eva Leslie McDaivd, Emmalynn Joan Grubb and Elijah Bennett McDavid.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Porter, minister. Burial will be in the McDavid Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the McDavid family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
