Jerry Allen Brock

Jerry Allen Brock, Sr., 72, of Pax, WV previously of Grayson passed away Thursday June 23, 2022 at the Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Jerry was born April 4, 1950 in Pax, WV a Son of the late, Price and Dollie Bowyer Brock.  In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda White Brock; and four brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Bobby and Price Brock, Jr.

Jerry was a retired from the Carter County Board of Education after 30 years of service as a bus mechanic and driver, having driven for the East Carter basketball team for many years.  After retirement, he worked as a security guard with Corporate Security.  Jerry lived in Pax, WV with his loving wife Peggy Brock for the last year.  Jerry loved to fish, hunt and planting his garden. 

Jerry is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Carter) Brock, who loved him dearly; two sons, Jerry Allen (Tammy) Brock, Jr. and Stephen Keith (Kristy) Brock both of Grayson; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Sonja, Dwayne, Zeke, Tyler, Brandon, Reilly, and Allie, Zeke; a brother, Larry (Donna) Brock of Florida; five step-daughters and one step-son, Whitley (Tony) Lucas, Lori (Frank) Ward, Carmen (David) Wobo, Amanda (Michael) Crotsley, Crystal (Anthony) Murdock and Johnny (Karen) Baughan; eleven step-grandchildren, Frankie (Sarah) Ward, Kelsey (David) Judy, A.J. (Kelsey) Murdock, Kendall (Ernie) Walker, Marc Taylor, Madison Williams, Abreanna Benaiah, Eyamyah Faith-Lynn Wobo; seven step-grandchildren, Olivia Lucas, McKenna  Ward, Annslea Ward, Ella Bubba, Zaeh Walker, A.J. Williams, a sister in-law, Bonnie (Eugene) Marshall, Sheila (Donald) Hurley, a brother in-law, Joe (Mary) Carter; his dog “Baby Girl”; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.  A Graveside memorial service for all his friends and family will be at a later date with Pastor Danny Gilfilen officiating.    Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
