Jimmy Eugene Arms

Jimmy Eugene Arms, 71, of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. Jimmy was born November 11, 1951 in Iron Hill, KY a son of the late, Henry Amos and Garnet Maxine Tolliver Arms. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Williams Arms, Walter Lee Arms, and Johnny Arms; and a sister, Kathy Sue Arms Brown.
Jimmy served his country honorably from 1971-1973 in the US Army, then he served 22 years in the Army reserves. Jimmy retired from CSX Railroad after 30 years of service working as a welder. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting coins. Jimmy’s greatest love was spending time with his precious grandchildren.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Hallie Loraine Jessie Arms; two daughters, Mandy (Brian) Horsley of Camp Dix, KY and Leona (Vic) Diaz of Sharpsburg, KY; three grandchildren, Brianna Paige Horsley, Isaac Scott Horsley and Haidey King; a brother, Larry (Mary) Arms of Hammond, LA; a sister, Sheila (Joel) Seaton of Grayson; and a host of niece and nephews who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday, May 12, 2023 at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnett Family Cemetery with Military Honors.
